Dr. Cox is a very loving and Phenomenal vet. She is not like a lot of vet's that charge the most expensive treatments to treat a pet but does her best to save you money, while you get quality care. Dr. Cox has heart of gold and will love your pets like her own. Can't say enough good things about her.
I recently had to have my 16 year old cat put down. Dr. Cox and her staff couldn't have been more compassionate. The entire office was aware of the emotional trauma I was going through and their thoughtfulness was very appreciated. I highly recommend Island Pet Veterinary Hospital for their caring and professionalism. Dr. Cox has treated my other cats and her knowledge and diagnostic skills are top notch.
Dr. Cox went beyond our expectations... accommodating to our vacation schedule, great with our dog, unexpectedly good prices, and thorough. She ordered products for our dog that have been very helpful for her skin condition. My family called later in our vacation to tend to her dogs cut paw pad. Again, Dr. Cox was very helpful!
Best veterinary care an owner could ask for. My boyfriend and I just moved to town two weeks ago. This morning my pup fell down the stairs, we were so distraught and called 4 vet clinics, no one answered except island vet. From the initial phone call to the moment we walked out the door, not only was Georgie treated with extraordinary care, but we were too. The entire staff was amazing ! I am so grateful for such caring people !
As the new Vet in the area we brought one of our dogs here as an alternative to our regular Vet. Everything was a very pleasant surprise. The office and staff were excellent and at this point less expensive than the other Vet in Hubert that I've used for the past 14 years. Even the price of doggy medications were lower, Amen to that! So if you're looking for a Vet AND want to save some money, this might be the place for your animals.
